When most people think of Public Relations, what they’re really thinking of is Media Relations: the ability to generate solid, valuable media coverage for clients. With nearly three decades of representing businesses and their brands, founder of BRANDED845 Phyllis Emmerich has built a network of media contacts from local newspapers to nationally syndicated television programs to social media influencers and every outlet in between. Strong media relationships across multiple channels build awareness and generate buzz. It’s why BRANDED845 clients are consistently found with stories in local newspapers, regional magazines and with TV appearances.

The Power of Public Relations
Favorable publicity in trusted local, national and trade press is a powerful tool for building recognition with potential customers. Very similar to the word-of-mouth-recommendation, editorial coverage is usually considered a credible method of public announcement, but reaches far-beyond the spoken word.

Featured Media Project: Toni On! New York
The 845ers build strong stories and crafted creative PR strategies that help businesses throughout Orange County, New York better position themselves across all consumer channels. This Toni On! New York spot is just one example of our capabilities. Toni On! New York sure did capture the essence of Warwick, NY when the show visited with us one happening fall weekendl. One of the coolest NYC television shows, Toni On! New York gives viewers a virtual taste of the best food and drink and trendiest shops complete with an energized history lesson of each of the businesses and their locales.
We joined the CBS producer, Toni Senecal, and her fun-loving, food-loving and farm-loving crew on a culinary tour of some of my clients eateries, bakeries, breweries and cideries. Toni and her team spent a few days with us here in the Lower Hudson Valley eating and drinking our way through Pennings Farm Market, Noble Pies, Pennings Farm Cidery and Glenmere Brewing. We were able to arrange accommodations for her and the crew at The Stagecoach Inn in exchange for inclusion in the Orange County, NY episode.
It was so exciting for all involved and for all who watched to have Toni, the host & director of Toni On! New York, her camera-master Glennie and Sean, aka the Curator Of Beer, visit and tour our agriculinary rich community. Toni became aware of my clients through ongoing social media campaigns and direct outreach by the 845ers. Having her include four of our clients in the nationally aired television show was most definitely a WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN! Incidentally, since the show aired, Toni has opened the Croton Tapsmith, a craft beer, cider and wine bar, and serves craft beverages from two of my brewery and cidery accounts.
